25 January: Day of Shorts

This play is about a family in crisis as they struggle with the decision to institutionalize a fifteen-year old autistic boy who is becoming stronger, more violent, and difficult to control.

A couple finds new ways to communicate with the help of an old friend.

15 February: Day of Shorts

  • Debbie Wiess “George Sand: Portrait of a Writer of Passion” *

This play, about two iconic figures of French Romanticism, presents a portrait of the writer George Sand, her passions and her work, as seen through the lens of her close friendship with painter Eugène Delacroix.

A parent and child struggle to connect in their fractured relationship through grief, love, and humor, but what they discover along the way might fracture the shape of time itself.

  • Patience Haggin “Titus Covidicus” *+

On opening night of a socially-distanced production of Titus Andronicus, a cast of prickly indie actors must embrace a comedic twist on Shakespeare's goriest tragedy.

The manager of a traveling circus must think fast when a safety officer orders her to dismantle the big top.

 15 March Arianna Rose The Ripple Effect *+

Will pregnancy elude Amy and Jeff again? Science and superstition go toe-to-toe in this heartwarming comedy about fertility, marriage, and a city of strangers.
